     If you have ever considered doing anything like this,  in any honest business, but don't have a good plan, I suggest you start immediately on this one.  It is one of the few home businesses in which you can insure your future success without risking anything.  You will almost certainly be successful if you will just start.

     The original idea for this business started with a delightful elderly couple who were our neighbors in a large city. They lived on a lot which measured 60' x 90'. In their 30' x 60' back yard they did the seemingly impossible. First they bought a single plant and cut it up to get several dozen leaf cuttings which they rooted. Adding other varieties, they soon had hundreds of plants growing and continuing to multiply. At first they sold on consignment through a local hardware. Soon they were selling direct to people in the neighborhood, depending on word-of-mouth advertising. They sold every plant they could produce without spending a dime on advertising. Up to that point they used only the space on their small back porch!
